FAIRFAX, VA--May 27, 2004. Just days after being recognized as the best overall Fixed Base Operation (FBO) chain by Professional Pilot Magazine's PRASE Survey, the Avitat brand received yet another kudo. Five individual Avitat locations were ranked among the top-ten-best-rated FBOs in a survey conducted by Aviation International News Magazine.
The Aviation International News FBO Survey was sent to more than 16,900 pilots and flight department managers worldwide. Respondents were asked to rate each FBO based on the quality of its line service, passenger amenities, pilot amenities and service, and facilities.
A total of eight Avitats were rated in the top 30 -- more than any other FBO network. "Having Avitat so well represented among the top FBOs is gratifying, but not surprising. Avitat places a premium on taking the very best care of their customers.
