AVITAT Network expands into Middle East

Customers enjoying the Avitat hospitality at Royal Jet will also be able to benefit from the ExxonMobil Aviation service by producing their Airworld card as payment for their fuel requirements.

We are delighted to announce that Royal Jet at Abu Dhabi International Airport has become the first ExxonMobil Avitat in the Middle East.

Royal Jet is a relatively young company, established in May 2003 primarily as a premium private aircraft charter company operating out of Abu Dhabi. The company has experienced healthy growth since its inauguration, with the delivery of three aircraft in the space of four months - one BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) and two Gulfstream G300, for which Royal Jet was the launch customer. Besides the private charter, Royal Jet also operates a weekly AUH (Abu Dhabi) - GVA (Geneva) service with its BBJ on behalf of Gulf Air.

To cater for the hospitality of its premium VIP clients, Royal Jet established its own FBO (Fixed Base Operation) at AUH, offering a luxurious VIP lounge and extensive facilities including catering, conference rooms, and on-site customs and immigration.

Royal Jet has recently taken the decision to offer these FBO facilities to executive non-Royal Jet passengers, and has chosen to work closely with ExxonMobil Aviation and the Avitat network to put this FBO on the global business jet map. From ExxonMobil Aviation and Avitat, Royal Jet can expect extensive support with marketing programmes, access to a growing global network of FBOs sharing best practices, and further support with technical and training requirements.

Royal Jet has been identified as an ideal partner to lead the Avitat network into the Middle East - the high standards and attention to detail shown by Royal Jet are the characteristics which Avitat aims to offer throughout its expanding network. Avitat is regarded as one of the world's leading networks of branded FBOs, and prides itself on the high quality of the member FBOs.

Customers enjoying the Avitat hospitality at Royal Jet will also be able to benefit from the ExxonMobil Aviation service by producing their Airworld card as payment for their fuel requirements.

This expansion into the Middle East follows the addition of a fourth European Avitat (Executive Aviation Services, Oslo) to the network last year. This brings to seven the total number of Avitats outside the US, where the network originated almost 30 years ago.
